Privacy policy
Privacy contact
For questions about personal data processing on WaterCalcLab or to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at [email protected].
Website access and hosting
Accessing the website involves processing technical connection data, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser or device information. Hosting and security services may process this data in access logs to deliver the website and identify faults or abuse.
Calculator inputs and shared links
Calculations run in your browser or on the server when you submit a form. No personal user account is required to use the calculators. Shared results may include inputs in the URL fragment; anyone receiving the complete link can read them. Do not enter personal or confidential data in calculator fields or shared links.
Local preferences and sessions
Unit and optional-service preferences may be saved in local browser storage. Administrator sessions use essential cookies for sign-in and form protection. See the cookie policy for further information.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is integrated for statistical analysis. It may process page views, usage events, device and browser information and approximate location data. Google may use cookies; processing outside your country, including in the United States, is possible. Google signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in our integration. Google explains its processing at https://policies.google.com/privacy. To block Google Analytics, use suitable browser controls or the Google browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Contact requests and retention
When you email us, we process your message and contact details to handle the request. Data is processed for as long as needed for its purpose or statutory retention duties. Retention periods for technical logs and Analytics data depend on the settings of the respective services.
Your rights
Where the legal requirements apply, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent prospectively. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority. Send requests to [email protected].
